Bhubaneswar: Director General of Police Sunil Kumar Bansal visited Nuapada today along with Director Intelligence, ADG (L&O) , IG (Ops), DIG (SIW) , DIG (SWR) and IG CRPF.
Bansal reviewed the left wing extremism scenario in the district. He instructed to intensify anti-maoists operations by security forces and set up more camps in the area.
The DGP further visited Sunabeda and Patdhara camps and interacted with SOG and CRPF soldiers to boost their morale.
He made an appeal to Maoists to lay down arms and contribute to the ongoing development process of the area in particular and the State in general.
