Cuttack: A man identified as Mohammed Irshad died after drowning in river Mahanadi here on Tuesday. The deceased was a businessman and had come to the river ghat to take bath in Mahanadi.
The police is investigating into how Irshad drowned. A team of fire service rushed to the spot, carried out a search and retrieved the body of the deceased. The body was sent to SCB MCH for autopsy.
