Balasore: A woman has lodged a complaint against her husband at Soro Police Station in Balasore for being involved in a gay sex racket and forcing her into prostitution.
Reportedly, the accused identified as Chiranjit Khilar of Mulising village under Soro police limits had married the woman in 2019 by identifying himself as an engineer working at Surat in Gujarat.
Two months after the marriage, she came to know that Khilar was part of a gay sex racket. She tried to convince him to leave the flesh trade but to no avail. As a result, she started working in a private company.
Khilar used to run the sex racket in their house whenever she left for her job. The woman protested it but Khilar tried to force her into the trade. Finally she approached the police for justice.
After four years of marriage, the woman lodged a complaint against Khilar at Soro Police Station. Based on the complaint, Police apprehended Khilar and have initiated a probe into the matter.
