Kendrapara: Two persons died after an unidentified vehicle hit their bike near Jayachandrapur on Chandikhol-Paradip Highway in Kendrapara district on Friday night.
The deceased persons have been identified as Chaturbhuja Das and Mahendra Sathpathy of Karanj village under Marshaghai police limits. They were returning on a bike from Balijatra in Paradip when the accident occurred.
On getting information, Marshaghai Police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem. A probe has been initiated into the matter.
