Cuttack: As lakhs of visitors from across Odisha, throng the silver city to witness the grand annual Balijatra, DCP Cuttack today advised the public to avoid taking the Barang route to enter the city.
DCP Pinak Mishra advised the people of Bhubaneswar to take an alternative route or the National Highway – 16 in view of the immersion ceremony of Lord Kartikeswar at Barang.
Earlier, a detailed traffic advisory was issued by Police Commissionerate which stated that no vehicles are allowed to ply on Trishulia and Nandankanan roads.
