Dhenkanal: A youth was shot at by some unidentified persons near the boundary wall of Tata Steel Meramandali under Kantabania police limits in Dhenkanal district on Monday.
As per eyewitnesses, the youth identified as Rabi Kumar of Bihar was having an argument with two others near the gate number 4 of the factory. Following it, one of them took out a gun and shot him on the head.
Rabi was rescued by locals while the attackers managed to flee from the spot. As per last reports, he was shifted to Angul in an ambulance as his condition was critical. Meanwhile, police have initiated a probe into the matter.
