Bhubaneswar: The Health and Family Welfare Department has issued guidelines for strengthening / setting up help desks in each Medical College and Hospital across Odisha.
The Superintendent of the Medical College & Hospital has been instructed to identify a senior Nursing Officer having the suitable attitude and aptitude to work as ‘Swasthya Sanjojak’.
The duty of the Swasthya Sanjojak would be to act as a link between the hospital and patient’s family / attendant.
He or she will disseminate the up-to-date information about the health condition / treatment of the IPD patient to her/his family members, the H&FW Department stated.
