Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced that the screening of the film Daman, made on the malaria prevention program of Odisha government, will be completely tax free.
The film portrays humanity of a young doctor in providing health care in the remote areas of Malkangiri in real life.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the move will augment the service to mankind attitude of all employees in the Health Department.
On the occasion, Naveen said that all Departments were working in cohesion during COVID-19 phase, to deliver services to the people.
This is an example which should be emulated to build a healthy and conscious society, the CM said.
