Bhubaneswar: After the success of Make-in Odisha 2016 and 2018, its third edition will be held from November 30 to December 4 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. Industrialists from abroad will participate in it and discuss the investment opportunities available in various sectors in our state.
There will be discussions on various issues like business leadership related interaction and innovation in technology for industrial growth, Skilled in Odisha, Start Up Odisha, Women Self Help Groups, Promoting Women Entrepreneurs, Odisha’s industrial development capacity and investment. Cultural programs are scheduled every evening.
A detailed discussion on media planning was held at the IDCO headoffice here to facilitate the promotion of each event to be held at this major industrial event. Hemant Kumar Sharma, Secretary of Industries Department and Chairman of IDCO attended the meeting and informed the media representatives in detail about the media planning regarding this conclave and took into consideration the proposals given by them.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, attended the meeting and requested the cooperation of the media representatives for the successful propagation of the program.
Singh said that the information officers of the Department of Information and Public Relations have also been prepared to provide information to media representatives from various departments of the government on different days in this program.
Director of the Department Indramani Tripathi, Director (Commercial) Surendra Nath Parida and other senior officials, representatives of various electronic and print media attended the discussion.
Live broadcast of the program, TV coverage by various electronic channels, photo coverage, location of Obi van etc. were discussed. The delegates who will get entry pass as business reporting representatives from various media organizations will be allowed to enter through Gate No-3.
In addition to looking at the space available in the conclave, the relevant arrangements will be made with emphasis on how the media representatives will have the facility to broadcast or publish the program in the facility, Sharma said.
