Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Saturday sanctioned the creation of 2,000 new Leave Training Reserve Medical Officers (LTRMO) posts to fill up vacancies of doctors in the State.
“I am directed to convey the sanction of Governor for creation of 2,000 posts of LTRMO in the rank of Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) Cadre in the scale of pay of level-12 of Pay Matrix of ORSP Rules, 2017 for the peripheral Health Institutions of the State to provide adequate health service to the people of the State,” a letter from Shalini Pandit, Commissioner-cum-Secretary Health & Family Welfare Department to Principal Accountant General (A&E) read.
These posts have been duly concurred in by Finance Department the letter added.
According to the letter, as many as 50 LTRMO posts each have been sanctioned for the 30 District Headquarter Hospitals of Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Sonepur, and Sundargarh.
Similarly, 20 LTRMO posts have been sanctioned for Rourkela Government Hospital, Rourkela.
Besides, 15 LTRMO posts each have been sanctioned for 32 Sub Divisional Hospitals of Athamalik, Pallahara, Talcher, Nilgiri, Patnagarh, Titlagarh, Padampur, Athagarh, Banki, Hindol, Kamakhyanagar, Aska, Bhanjanagar, Chhatrapur, Hinjillicut, Dharmagarh, Baliguda, Anandapur, Champua, Pattamundai, Karanjia, Rairangpur, Udala, Chitrakonda, Mathili, Umerkote, Khariar, Gunupur, Kuchinda, Rairakhol, Birmaharajpur, and Bonai.
