Cuttack: Some unidentified miscreants allegedly torched the Bolero of Tehsildar Nilakantha Behera at Badamba in Cuttack district on Sunday night.
Reportedly, the miscreants arrived on a motorcycle and set the vehicle on fire. Locals rushed to catch them but they managed to flee from the spot.
Locals doused the flames, however, the vehicle was partly burnt. On getting information, Badamba Police reached the scene and initiated a probe into the matter.
It is suspected that the Tehsildar was targeted by sand and stone mafia.
