Bhubaneswar: A man died after falling from a break dance swing installed in Meena Bazar at Turekela of Balangir district on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Debraj Sahu (38), a chicken trader.
The Meena Bazar has been set up at Turekela for Kartik Purnima. Last night, Sahu was sitting on one of many swings at the Meena Bazar when he suddenly fell down.
He was rescued by locals and rushed to the local hospital where the doctor declared him dead. As Sahu is the only earning son of his family, the locals demanded financial support for the family.
Turekela Police have sent the body for post-mortem and also initiated a probe to ascertain how Sahu fell from the swing.
