Bhubaneswar: Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Andaman Sea with the associated cyclonic circulation in the early morning of Thursday and now persists over the same area.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the system is likely to gradually concentrate into a Depression over central parts of South Bay of Bengal around November 19.
While dry weather is going to prevail across the State for the next few days, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput on November 21.
